Librarian-Directed Visits

Our Childrens and YA Services Department has a staff of librarians available to lead class visits in the library. For preschoolers, we typically provide a story and craft program that is followed by a brief library tour. For older students, we can offer book talks, give library tours, or provide presentations on the Internet and our extensive Virtual Reference Collection (VRC). We will also work with educators to create "customized" visit plans.
