Educator's Library Cards

The Westhampton Free Library is pleased to offer Educator's Library cards to help our community's educators better meet their needs and the needs of their students. If you are a public or private school educator, or daycare provider, who works in the Westhampton Beach, East Moriches,
Eastport, East Quogue, Remsenburg/ Speonk communities, you are eligible for an Educator's Library card.

Please note that the Educator's Library Cards may only be used to check out materials at the Westhampton Free Library. Other area libraries will not honor these cards.

Educator Library Card Guidelines: Educators must submit a completed application, verification of employment, and a personal ID that verifies their home address. The library card will be issued in the employee's name and will be valid for the school year (September through June). Cards will expire yearly on July 1. Each cardholder may borrow up to 25 items. All materials loaned are subject to our standard circulation rules unless other arrangements are made. Materials checked out on an Educator card should be for CLASSROOM USE ONLY. These materials should not be loaned to individual students for home use. Because of the limited availability of some materials (holidays, seasonal titles and report topics), at times we may ask that teachers limit their selections to 5 books per subject. All materials checked out on the Educator card are the responsibility of the cardholder. DAMAGED, LOST, or STOLEN materials are the financial obligation of the cardholder.
