Assignment Alerts

Our staff is ready to help you and your students. But we need your help too. We have designed the Assignment Alert form to facilitate easy communication.

Please take a few minutes to complete and send the form to us as you prepare to assign research projects to your students. If you do not have access to a computer, you can submit a copy to us by mail or fax (at 288-5715), or leave the information on our voice mail (at 288-3335 x12). It would be extremely helpful if you could try to give us a minimum of 1 week notice to collect/prepare the materials you request.
With a minimum of 1 week notice we can provide:

• Customized booklist : We can create a booklist on a non-fiction subject or fiction genre for your class. We will create a display of books for your students to use in our library or to checkout. Examples: Historical fiction; weather; dinosaurs.
• Customized webography : Let us create a list of age-appropriate websites on a subject for your students. Examples: Endangered species; Science projects; Greek and Roman Mythology.
• Customized pathfinder : We can create a research guide for your students to guide them through report writing. Examples: Native Americans; Ancient Egypt; Country Reports.
